Solid Aerosol Generator Systems – SAG
Solid Aerosol Generator Systems are a self-generating, automatic fire suppression system that provides immediate protection to confined spaces by harnessing aerosol particles. The Aerosols used, are environmentally friendly.
Fire poses a grave threat to assets and lives, requiring a reliable suppression system for quick and safe detection and extinguishment. Muster Solid Aerosol Generator Systems (SAG) is a self-generating fire suppression device that contains a unique solid chemical which when electrically or thermally activated produces micron sized particles and gases. As these elements mix, they transform into a uniform aerosol which acts as a suppressing agent by
interrupting the chemical chain reaction in the flame.
Muster SAG offers superior performance and innovation for demanding environments, is
environmentally responsible, compact, easy to install, and has a long operational life. It can operate independently or as part of a multi-agent system.
Features & Benefits:
- Eco-friendly: No ozone depletion, no global warming, no residue, no corrosion
- Fast and effective: Rapid and even discharge, seconds to suppress fire, reduced damage and risk, optional activation delay
- Compact and versatile: No cylinders, pipework, or nozzles, direct discharge from unit, inside or outside mounting, various applications
- Scalable Protection: With the integration module, connect up to 8 SAG units for complete coverage and flexibility.
- Long-lasting and low maintenance: 10 years shelf life, 5 to 10 years operational life, minimal maintenance, or no refilling requirements
- Dual or triple agent system: Compatible with foam and/or powder, multiple risk coverage, enhanced efficiency, and reduced cost
- Certification: AS5062 and AS4487
Applications:
- Mining
- Construction
- Transportation
- Manufacturing
- Energy

Components of the Solid Aerosol Generator systems
SAG units These are the self-generating aerosol devices that contain the solid chemical compound. They come in different sizes and capacities to suit different applications and volumes.
Alarm Panel The alarm panel is an advanced integrated control system that incorporates control, monitoring and activation of the Muster fire suppression system. It also provides audible and visual alarms in case of fire detection or system fault.
Integration Module The Muster Integration Module empowers you to link up to 8 SAG units within a single system, delivering all-encompassing fire protection. Furthermore, it enables the configuration of dual or triple agent systems for heightened fire safety.
Remote Activation Device As the autonomous vehicle landscape continues to expand exponentially, so do the challenges associated with fire safety. Meticulously designed to address the evolving safety needs of the autonomous vehicle era, our innovative Remote Activation Device allows for the remote activation of fire suppression systems from afar, revolutionizing fire incident management in autonomous vehicles.
Remote Actuators Remote actuators enable the operator to trigger activation of the fire suppression system manually at the first sign of a potential fire. Available in either push button or a lever design and manufactured from the same high quality stainless steel used throughout the Muster range. It can be located near the protected enclosure or in a remote location.
Diagnostics module The diagnostics module enhances the Muster alarm panel by providing real-time data on alarm parameters, system pressure, battery status, software updates, and more for thorough fire suppression system maintenance. Technicians can further access data logs via the Muster diagnostics utility app.
Initiator Signal Test Unit The Muster Initiator Signal Test Unit (M2ISTU) is a crucial device for testing the Muster SAG fire suppression system. It simulates SAG module activation signals, checks wiring, and lasts for at least two years on a lithium battery. Battery is replaceable. |
Engineered to safeguard your valuable assets and ensure your protection from fire hazards. Renowned for its exceptional performance, unwavering reliability, and innovative design. It is possible to effortlessly connect up to 8 SAG units into a unified system using the Integration Module. The SAG system can be integrated with complementary agents like foam or powder, enabling dual or triple agent configurations.
How does the Solid Aerosol Generator System work?
Fire Detected Signal
Activate Fire Extinguishing System Signal
The activation can be electrically triggered via the Muster Alarm Panel upon fire detection using MusterWire (available in 180°C, 105°C, and 68°C) or remotely and manually.
